It stands to reason that all components used in a fuel system are designed for that purpose, ie fuel grade hoses, fuel filler and neck, fuel tank etc.

 

A good guide for fixing fuel line runs is to fix them in position every 300mm (12 inches) to something secure, ie chassis. Fixings need to be secure.

 

Fit a fuel filler neck appropriate for the fuel source that your kit car will use.

 

Ensure the fuel filler cap fits securely and doesn’t leak fuel.

 

Don’t position fuel system components near a heat source.
