At the point of IVA it’s not a good idea, especially if it is viewable from the drivers seat.

 

The only monitors that are acceptable at the point of IVA test are ones that enable a view from the rear of the vehicle (ie rear view camera), SatNav or Vehicle information display or any combination of these.
