Default front engine mount type-r

Does any of the type r builders Jerry, John know if the bolts for the front engine mount go down through the chassis or forward through the chassis if that makes sense?

The mount was pre-assembled already to go down over but still not sure looking at demo car photos

Cheers
Craig

I'm pretty sure the demo car's was welded. Yours, assuming it's the same as the one I was supplied with, is designed such that the bolts run longitudinally.

My bracket didn't fit, and I didn't like the concept of bolting, so I made a fresh bracket and welded it on.

I'll be interested to hear your views on the engine mounting once you've attached the front mount.
