My car is not a kit but I am doing what I believe to be a similar wiring task, I have a 73 super beetle and I am using a watson street works wiring kit. Unfortunately the instructions are next to horrid which leaves me with several questions. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I believe that many kits are probably subject to similar wiring situations. The kit was made by American Auto wire but they as it seems regret making the kit for Watson's possibly due to the fact that Watson's misrepresented the kit when sold but I digress.
I was informed that I would not require turn signal relays, this on a whole sounds a bit odd but could be true. I was told that the turn signal relay was built into the fuse panel a representative of one company. I still have the email, does that sound right?
Also the instructions do not show any grounds for the turn signals as well as the rear light units at all. The rear lights make up reverse, brake, running, and rear turn signals in one unit. I am a novice at best so this task was probably not a great idea to overtake but I am so far along that I do not think turning back is an option.
Any help would be awesome, you can respond here or even to my email
