Thanks Dave. All the better to keep the Chevy cool lol. They are sitting high, don't think they are much bigger than yours tbh.

Thanks Guys.
I have jumped the queue a bit so i need to be a bit quiet about showing the pics
It will be ready for me to look at week Friday, then off for interior.
Dave, I saw your post on another thread re tyre pressure, what do you have yours set to?
I have a brand new set of 345 35 15 asym tyres and the ones on the alloys are not asym so going to swap them over.
Need to work out ICE now, got the head, side speakers and fronts. Need to source an amp and a sub, any thoughts?

Car is now in for interior and finishing
So close yet so far. Aim to be on the road before the two year anniversary of its purchase

So, now that the car is in the final stages, I thought I would sort out my rear reflectors.
I think the two panels on the back of the lambo are more for aesthetics rather than function, but paying over £200 each for OEM is a no no!!! But trying to find the same type of sheet to cut them out is like looking for Hens Teeth!!
But I have a genius wife and she has suggested using clear with a reflective sheet underneath, love her
So, why do I need to do this since I had a perfectly good pair already you may ask (or not!)? Well, during its visit for paint, undue car and attention lead to this :-
Not happy
So bought some of this :-
Used the original reflectors as templates and this to cut them out:-
I now have new ones :-
But there non-reflective, so ordered these to stick behind the red acrylic :-
Fingers crossed, it will give a similar effect

Well done wife... Maybe she should join the forum! The lenses, do you have to stick them in place?

I won't stick them on, it will be a snug fit, also the lenses will still on top of this, screwed in from inside the boot. I know this isn't ala original but will still do the job
Seen some more pics of the car today, more detailing coming along

Thanks but I cannot take credit unfortunately, the body shop did a great job.
The colour is so much better in the flesh as well.
