Christmas is coming!
No, Really but some things have to be started sooner rather than later.
I'd like to offer a Sammio themed calendar this year to include owner's cars and ask all the budding 'David Baileys' out there to dust down their Rolleiflex and get some shots of their cars. I'll be happy to include both serious and humorous photographs and it would be great if some could be staged to represent a specific month (or Season). Less so the more often seen shot of the car sat outside the garage. Be creative and enjoy finding new and interesting places for your car to take you.
Of course, only the 'best' 12 photos can be included and I've not really figured how this can be chosen (possibly a 'poll' on this forum or our web site). As an incentive, the contributors of the final 12 photos will receive a free calendar but it will be available to all from the web site when completed.

But of Course! It's ANY current Sammio model. Real car, any background (Which is why I included photoshop in case anyone really does want to put theirs on the moon or something)

But back to the topic... down-ere in the SW around me there are a number of nice locations (Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury Tor, Bath Royal Crescent, etc) so i'll have to dig out the camera and go for a blat when the sun comes out.
But i was also thinking that it would be nice to try and have a 'regional' photo as well if we can muster everyone together at somewhere central and pretty? Any SW takers up for this?

Now you're thinking Dave! Multiples are more than welcome. We're starting to get clusters in the SW, East Anglia, NW and even further North now

I had a weekend break in Inverness recently and I could have sworn I saw a finished G46 near one of the lochs. When I looked again though it turned out to be Nessie.

Hope this is technically within the rules as I am no where near a finished car.
Here is my double photo submission for "October"...
Happy Halloween, Paul.
PS
I blame the medication that stopped me 'playing outside' on my real car for the idea.

Very nice, but has it been granted a certificate of fitness for purpose by the Munich jack-o-lantern and other non-regulated lighting solutions safety inspectorate? I think not.
Do I detect the possibility that it was manufactured using unpaid child labour?
It must surely be referred to the kinder exploitation review sub committee brackets, pumpkin division, close brackets, which has already had great success in prosecuting the evil British television programme 'Blue Peter' for encouraging young children to participate in cottage industry manufacturing of Tracey Island models using contaminated cardboard tubes from toilet rolls. Do you British barbarians not know that civilised European people wash their anus after passing faecal matter?
DISCLAIMER:
The views expressed above are entirely fictional and intended to mildly entertain the reader. They do not reflect the actual opinion of the author who wishes he had thought of making a Sammio lantern.

For the record, no children were harmed in the making of this pumpkin.
They were far too busy making their own to help me.
And this is what the rest of this year's crop looks like...
