Donnington rules
Hi guys/girls.
I'm looking hopefully to take the car on the track at the Donnington show. I remember at Brands as a passsenger, you needed a crash helmet and long sleeved shirt. Is this the same as Donny? Also, can you borrow/hire the helmets at a Donny like at Brands?
Also any idea of the cost for the track? Search the limelight site and could not find anything.

As far as I know there isn't any track event this year, which is a shame as that was what made it a unique show.

Don't know about Donny having the track open, but you can pick up a helmet from around £40.

There won't be any track action at Donington this year, but there will be a small area of the 'old' track set aside for manufacturers' demonstration rides - but you won't be able to take your own car on this.

Donny is going to be 'crap'. The trackday was the best bit, cheap trackday to show your car off on a very nice circuit. Gutted!! Oh well gives me more time to finish the car now without rushing.

For anyone camping over, we (Complete Kit Car magazine) will have a marquee in the club area and will be providing evening entertainment on the Saturday. There will be a hog roast, music and a few beers. Come and join us!
