Default Fuel tank grounding

Just had a thought...

My fuel tank is not grounded and insulated from the chassis with rubber strip. I presume that it should be grounded to avoid any build up of static?

The only place I can think of attaching a secure earth cable is one of the fuel sender screws.

Any other ideas?

I guess most people don't bother but I think it's a good idea. As long as you have a good contact anywhere would do to attach an earth wire - one of the fuel sender screws seems like the best option to me.
