Default pedal box sedition

Hi All,

As it happens I am quite enjoying sorting out the problemss with the Marlin pedal box but I awoke this morning with a rebellious thought...

Has anyone actually contemplated fitting a "third party" pedal box? There are some really smart, well engineered proven setups around - floor mounted or hanging which should be able to be fitted quite easily?

Hmmm!!--interesting question, as I may be doing my own modifications to the BMW box here in the US.
If I may digress?-can someone tell me the cut-off length and the overall length of the modified front strut to accomodate the E36 mod.

I looked at the wilwood ones but decided it was too much work, I've beefed up the marlin box and replaced the clutch setup completely.
