I wish you the best of luck in getting funding for your project. For what it's worth, personally I wouldn't want a car built by someone doing it for the first time, however enthusiastic and passionate you may be today.
If you are genuinely serious about making this your business, I'd look at what you could offer a potential investor, perhaps some equity in the business, but also to start with one or two cheaper projects to hone your skills a little and reduce a significant amount of financial burden on yourself if it doesn't go to plan.
Some of these builds take a serious amount of time for people who have done similar builds in the past and have a wealth of experience in buildings/restoring/repairing cars, so for someone with little or no experience it could take a very long time, which could lead to project fatigue, where you get tired of the build part way in and give up.
I'd advise setting your sights on something a little more attainable than a $10,000 investment expectation for a rather ambitious build, and get a business plan drawn up for your future company first so you know what your ultimate goal needs to look like.
