Gary does some fibreglass rear inner wings.

I think I might get some and make similar for the front.

I made rear ones using 6mm marine ply, I don't have front ones yet but i will be fitting some at some time in order to help stifen up the front.

On the g46 I have an idea to cut away the arches from the scimitar floor/bulkhead moulding and attach them to the flip up bonnet, very like the inner front wings on a herald/vitesse bonnet. Just an idea at the moment, not tested yet.

I have saved the metal inner arches from my Herald with the plan to see if I can make them useful under the bonnet. Otherwise, I shall just look for inspiration from other builders on the forum.
Makes sense to use them as an integral bonnet stiffener. And we all need those.

These are the best front inner wings I've yet seen (scroll down to 14th Feb 2011) -

Some great pics on that thread, it's been dormant for a while but there's loads of useful info too.
