My concern would be (as always with kits) ... what is the make/model on the registration document?

A quick check on the government website shows it to be correct ! Takes 10 seconds and is free to check .

I should have done that, but came to the conclusion that as it was a 'cherished plate' it wouldn't show up.

I was looking with interest, and contemplated going to the auction but going for £71.0000 is just bonkers, and glad I didn’t waste my time as imho was way over priced. But each to their own and it’s what someone is willing to pay I guess.

Whist its not my cup of tea I didn't think the price was unreasonable. The build quality looked exceptional in just about every respect. Hand built exotics tend to fetch big money ! If you're thinking that its just a "kit car" that is missing the point . If I had similar money to buy a mid engined performance car I'd probably buy an Audi R8 but that's down to taste and never being a Lambo enthusiast !

Here is the advert...

Having checked the number plate in the photo on the government website it was registered as a Pontiac Sports , what ever that is. Maybe a Fiero judging by the engine size.
Put an engine and box in so it drives would double the current price. Registration via IVA might be a challenge !

If it can move under its own steam the value jumps up ! Finished examples are going for silly money as you know. Plenty of engines out there with a transaxle such as most of the bigger Audi's, wouldn't cost too much to make it drivable.

Hi all, does anyone have photo of front trunk/bonnet hinges for the Countach. Mine wasn’t fitted and I’m looking to see which are the best options for the hinges. Any help would be great .
