Default Lotus 32 ford pick up truck

I thought I'd introduce my self to the forum by showing my car or the parts of it I have so far.

The first full build I did wasn't a Kit car it was a 98 escort gti which I still own.

I am currently building a 66 split screen with a friend. Just finished paint.

So any way... I was blocking the primer on the side panel the one day and my phone went off., item ending. I wasn't sure whether to bid or not bud with five minutes left I didn't have long to think about it. I didn't meet the reserve but i got a message off of the seller asking if I wanted it. We hired a Luton van from golds and took a Sunday morning road trip from cannock to Rhyl. I have not regretted the choice once.

Hardy county body on a 78 lotus elite chassis.

Got it home, stripped it down apart from the cab.

We went to stoke to get a 2.9 cologne v6 then when we got back we realised the 4x4 sump has the drive line straight through so whilst looking for another sump I ended up winning another engine, this time from a Tvr s3 with low mileage. From start to finish this won't be an easy build but I'm sure it'll be worth it in the end.

I hope to learn a lot from this build and i will no doubt be bugging people for advice throughout. thanks

Richard
