Welcome to the world of Sammio building Clive.
There is a thread to practise uploading photos (see the "sticky" at the top of this forum for the link. )
I look forward to seeing both what you bought and what you do with it.
Good luck, Paul.

Good luck with the build...
(I can't recommend viewing ebay on a late night after a bottle of red wine, with an accessible credit card!)

Get some pictures up soon, that's what we all like
My build is well documented at www.mysammiospyder.co.uk. And you have numerous threads on here for reference.
It is quite therapeutic to document your progress. Great to look back and see what you have achieved!
Good luck

Um, you shouldn't really but mine had genuinely rusted to nothing at the ends. However, their bases were solid and firm. I have two brand new rear extensions that I came within an ace of fitting. Instead, I boxed-in what was left of the originals. Which approach preserves the original chassis better?
I have no concerns about the inspection.
I am sure that yours are very very rusty as well...............

Clive - Have a read through this thread...
http://www.madabout-kitcars.com/foru...ead.php?t=4497
As the thread progresses you will see that the "inspection" process seems to be changing.
Cheers, Paul.

someone on here had a bit of luck with the currant changes going on at DVLA and managed to get a car through becausr of the changes going on . I spoke to your glorius founder a few days back and he is very up on the registration systum as he has dabbled with modified cars for over 25 years and his understanding of it is that whilst the systum is undergoing changes from local office control to vosa control there will be a slacker service but vosa are pretty much in control now and the cars will be being checked by vosa very soon in all areas if that hasnot started yet. here in poole they are pretty much ready to go.I will take his comments as fact as he has had a good relationship with the local office for the last 28 years and told me that he has even been invited to there closing party!
