How many Sportster builders are there out there?
Its strange considering how many Sportsters have been sold that there only seems to be half a dozen of us frequenting the forum - perhaps everyone else is finding the build so easy they don't need the forum
So come on guys - let's have a count up...

Have you got an M50 or M52? We're looking to do an engine swap in my brothers daily drive and those two are top of the list!

Andy, mine is hybrid! Using e36 non vanos engine, just doing wiring now. Did you get around the problem of lack of space between throttle body/air flow metre and the side panels?

Any more shy ones out there who want to own up??
We need some more build websites too.
You can put pictures on 'Flickr' for free and it's dead easy.(No website building or hosting fees)
just Google Flickr and read the instructions........

I know I've mentioned this before but we will have a build section on the site soon. It's taken longer than we anticipated as we keep changing things but we will soon have a build section on the site where you will be able to keep a build diary, words, pictures etc.
Promise

Not yet - I'm not building mine now but the guy who is (Vindicator Cars) has a few ideas, including just putting a hole in the side panel and fitting an airfilter there - like you see on some of the sevenesque kits...
It's a hurdle we haven't quite got to yet but as soon as we tackle it I'll let you know...

Just in time
Count me in at position 9 !
I'm back after a long period of moving to a new house with a bigger garage.
Doing lots of things now, but first is looking at your sites again.
It will take a few months before I'm back on building.
I'm building the Sportster with a Ford Scorpio Cosworth 2,9i V6 24Valve engine and driving stuff of it. It's in rolling condition now, needed to get it to the new garage.
My site is moved too for months ago, but I lost my password to this site so it took me a while to respond ....
-->> www.marlinsportster.nl
Sure, in the Netherlands so left hand driven....
