When does Marlin re-open?
Anybody know? I know they shut down over christmas, but they're in the middle of moving / expanding aren't they?
I'd like to get cracking again on the build front, but to do that, I need to buy the next stage / module.

I would also like to know. I was negotiating to swap the hollow wing stays that I have with the solid ones and there is also the issue of the front wishbone (as "discovered" by Patrick) that I would like some feedback on....

Just got off the phone with Terry (seems that the office is open, at least...)
The builders have restarted work today, and they're aiming to have the new building up by the end of the month.
She's asked me to send her a list of things I need, as some of them will be stock items and in marlin's temp. storage containers, whilst the fiber glass bits will need some lead time.
If you need to talk to her, she's there now.

up date on Marlin's factory move from Marlin Cars
Dear all
Due to seriously bad weather conditions, which look set to continue for at least the rest of this week, our builders are not able to continue with the building of the factory. After major discussions with the owners of our old site we have managed to get them to agree to let us stay on the site for another 2 to 3 months. This means that, once we unpack our containers (probably will take at least 2/3 days) we can set up a temporary welding work shop. We won’t be able to get to all our stock but at least we can continue making our chassis’s and fulfil the other commitments we have as a business. We will also be in touch individually with each of you who are waiting for orders.
Also to be honest with you, at the moment we just do not have the time to keep checking on the forums as much as we would like, so if you have any problems please do not approach us this way but phone the work help line (which, at the moment, is being manned, most of the day, by Simon) on 07748 235630 or the new email address support@marlinsportscars.co.uk or myself on 01363773772.

Aha! does that mean I'll get my second stage order sooner rather than later, Terry? (GreatOldOne, or GOO = Jason Cundall)
Sorry to hear about the building woes. I blame global warming, which, of course, I shall be contributing to once I'm on the road!!
