Well the rain stayed away, so we hopped in the Sportster and made off to the Ace cafe on the London North Circular. They were having a Q Plate and kit car day.
There was not a huge number of cars but a very interesting selection of almost every type of kit car produced.
We had our lunch (the food is highly recommended here) and a nice wander around cars outside the famous cafe.
The range of cars was amazing. From a little air cooled Lomax to Gardner Douglas and AGM Sportscar monsters and a very rare Carcraft Cyclone which was in superb condition and finish.
Here is a selection...
Cradley Motor Works Lomax Tourer
Gardner Douglas Lola T70 replica-absolutely sublime
MNR Vortex - bike endined LSIS on a 08 plate
Carcraft Cyclone - superb rare example
AGM Sportscars - WLR
and of course, yours truly...
