Default Source of stainless steel hinges

I've been thinking about changing out my brass hinge for a stainless one. I'm having trouble locating one the same size though, its got a 5mm pin, 57mm across when open. The join size is 25mm (an inch).

I found one a bit bigger here: http://www.juststainless.co.uk/products/hinges.asp

Suppose it can't hurt too much as it will only make 0.5mm difference overall I guess

Sorry, can't help as I got mine from Marlin.
They must buy them in from somewhere and I doubt if they are a custom size?

Thanks Simon, that one's a bit too small I think. I've just found this site which seems to have the right one 57mm open and a 5.9mm pin: http://www.stedall.co.uk/acatalog/Co...us_Hinges.html

Even better this place seems to have an outlet near me: http://www.albert-jagger.co.uk/Default.aspx?tabid=406

Now that is a useful place to know.........
I think I also see the Marlin door locks, door restaining straps and the hood knuckle joints.

Great find! Have you got a price yet for the hinge? I have a stainless hinge (from ebay) but it only has a 3mm pin and I think I will have to replace it sooner or later (post SVA I hope...)

Here are some hinges:

The longer one was £19.99 an the other £16.98 + VAT the car parts industry must have an insane mark up on these.
