21 Oct 2018, 7:14pm General Update
I know I said I would get the other side up to the same stage but had a go at one of the curved roof corners this week. So spent a total of five hours with a sand bag and mallet to form the curve not quite there yet but getting there.

Thanks yes have been finding it quite hard to do some of the panels but learning all the way. Think I might scrap the wings and fit cycle wings and pod lights?

Took a step back to move forwards so to speak, removed the two nose panels I fitted last week had a bump on joint line which was bugging me. But have remade them and the other side as well so good progress and feel they look much better.

Thanks Paul yes quite pleased with it so far but wish I had more time to work on it. Have made my mind up on the wings I am going to use the Morgan stile wings, and have decided to change the engine. Always wanted to put in a v8 engine so going to bite the built and fit a Rover 3.5 v8 in.
19 Nov 2018, 8:02pm Chassis and Body
Thanks but will use the fiberglass ones I have.

December 2018

4 Dec 2018, 8:24pm Engine Chassis and Body
Hi been a bit slow over the last few weeks with work and home, but have now finished all the body panels. I have the doors to make yet but they will be left till later after I have removed the engine and mocked up the rover v8. So have removed the body and put it aside for now, so it does feel a big step.

Have had a bit of time so have mocked up the Rover v8 and box, and dropped the diff frame down by 2" to get the prop shaft below the floor to give a bit moor room for the seats. So all tacked up for now and will get fully welded when I strip and get ready to paint.

Well 12 months has come and past since I started work on the car, in the last month or so seems I have gone more back than forward. Taken out all the floors inner wheel arches, but this has allowed me to move out the rear wheel arches so they are parallel to the wheels now. Re fitted the floors and made a boot space to go behind the seats will have a fold down door fitted latter. I have also made a role cage this will help with seat belt mounts etc.

February 2019

14 Feb 2019, 9:41pm Engine Mechanical Overhaul Interior & Trim
Been slow progress over the last month but have fitted the top to the front bulkhead and have installed the steering column, from a Corsa and other bits all works nice and smoothly and have fitted the brake pedal and brake master cylinder. Had to move this over to miss the steering column motor, as it is going to be an automatic gear box I linked the brake and clutch pedal together and moved it over enough, small steps but going forwards.

Thank you much appreciated. I am trying to do this build as best I can on a small budget so having to pick up a mix and match of parts, so takes a bit to think out side of the box to get round problems. But get there in the end if not on the first try.

Yes always works that way hindsight is wonderful wish I had some.
