Default airport sanity and iva

ready for home after a glorious few weeks away,currently awaiting a BA flight from Thailand.Home to push for final finishings to the car,but I dont think I will be ready for the end of april deadline re iva\sva changes-is this going to give me a problem?

No - Don't fit your windscreen for the test, and the glass dispensation isn't an issue

As I commented here, the change in tank regs is to prevent people putting tanks into confined spaces (like an old beetle) where the fuel filling cap is located in the same space.

Both sportsters and cabrios have their tanks under the boot floor and have the filler on the body work, so no issue.

Is the immobiliser documentation requirement changing? On my IVA, the guy didn't bother looking at my certificate of installation by an approved installer because he said they were currently waiving that requirement, but it might have changed now?

Dunno - I didn't have any immobiliser fitted bar the steering lock, so it didn't come up on my IVA.

Same here on the immobliser. The tester just checked the steering lock worked.
