If your kit car has passed then, congratulations! You will be given a Minister’s Approval Certificate (MAC) which you will need for the next stage of getting you car legally road registered and licensed.
If your kit car failed – don’t panic too much, you are in good company! You will be given a list of fail points and if the examiner is chatty he will go over each one (don’t be scared for further explanation if you are unsure on certain fail points). You will be able to take the vehicle back with you to put right the fail points. You will then have to re-apply for a re-test date.
