Morning i was at the 2 day show at Tatton Park weekend just gone , helping a mate on Sat try and sell old car parts in the rain! for various reasons he had decided not to take a Gazebo , so not much was sold . On the Sunday i took my car and once it had stopped raining (mid-day) had a good day spoke to loads of people and if Chris doesn`t get at least half a dozen orders i will be amazed . One gentleman pointed out to me that the hand brake should be chromed and located to the right of the drivers seat , not sure what BMW will make of that criticism , suppose the only thing i can do would be to send my car to Mister Towed to have the handbrake relocated (cant be to difficult) , Geoff .

For some time i have been trying to figure out why my headlights both dipped and main were not very bright in fact really just brown , i had decided it was a wiring issue (although not sure why) , anyway i use my car pretty much daily and so a couple of weeks ago went to and evening kick-off football match and coming home it was fine where there was street lights but dangerous on the country roads . Decided i really needed to sort it once and for all , so yesterday the weather was good here (Cheshire) so did a temporary test rewire of the light and still no difference , the bulbs were newish having been replaced a while back , thought i will take them out and check them , guess what they were 24v , now there is no way i would have ordered 24v bulbs , i had some spare 12v bulbs tried those and we now have nice bright lights , so yes i am a Plonker! Geoff .
