Hi LLM, definitely hearing you but got to be the classic racing cap for me. The only part of the regs that I am making sure I don’t step on is the chassis. I can’t cut anything out with going through structural cert. I think where it is should be ok as it is no further out than wing mirrors etc. The modern one would fit but just won’t look right for my eyes. I’ll get there!
I may be able to put gentle bends in Molleur where I have put it so fingers crossed!
