The line between them has been blurred for years. I see that the classic 1957 "Maserati" navigated by Clive Myrie in his BBC series "CM's Italian Road Trip" episode 15 was built in Fulham, West London with bodywork from Kingston-upon-Thames. It does have a Maserati engine so- a kit car !!!
