The only thing I can think of is that as the suspension is at full hang, I assume, this must cause some sort of missalignent, or at least unecessary pressure on the drive shaft joints, otherwise nothing springs to mind.
Just a thought, were the disks milled out in the centre, to ensure a good fit on the drive flange?
