Mooched around my local scrap yard today looking for cheap micra bonnet grills no luck, thinking about the boot spring situation found a couple of nice long gas struts cost me a fiver, have one fitted now mated to an old Pug 405 door hinge, boot now opens at a pull of the leaver, (did not want to spoil the lines with a catch).
