As far as the seat belts are concerned, i have a 1969 donor (i was going to write a 69 donor, but with Mister Towed in this sort of mood, i thought i'd better not
) so i had to fit diagonal lap belts.
Luckily i had a set of MR2 MK2 belts in the garage left over from a different project and with a bit of basic fabrication and some reading of the IVA regs to see how i "should" mount the mounting points to the chassis if i wanted something that would meet even the modern day regs, i ended up with the below set-up.
It probably cost me no more than £10/£15 for the steel tube and the 6 additional weld-in mounting points!
