Anyone ever haggled over the price of a kit?

Getting discounts or freebies thrown in is common place when buying a 'normal' car so was wondering if anyone has successfully (or even just tried) to haggle the price down for a kit or got some freebies thrown in :eusa_eh: Got to be worth a try I would have thought.

I sort of did.

I managed to get my kit at the launch offer price even though they had stopped the offer nearly a month beforehand. (and I got a T-shirt thrown in).

I think you can always save a fair bit by shopping around for the parts you need too.

I got my chassis delivered (minus a few parts) after Litton had folded, so I guess that was a bargain compared with losing the deposit

Perhaps us kit car folk just aint cut out to haggle :eusa_shifty:
