Auto Speciali Veleno...Consideration

I am tossing the idea around to build a Veleno; if you are unfamiliar with the car, here is the link...http://www.thecar2own.com/view.php?c...crafted_veleno. I have contacted the company, as living in the US, I would prefer a left hand drive configuration, which, I learned, they make! The plan is to ground-up build the vehicle with all new, "tuner," components including coilovers, big disk brakes, etc. I intend to paint the car chrome orange with a black interior and a set of Axis GT-R wheels; somewhat Lamborghini esq, no?

For such a car, and being American (where bigger is better), a 4 cylinder Toyota engine of a MKII Mr2 simply won't cut it. Provided there is room, I would like to opt for a German V12. For now, I am considering BMW's M70 and S70 as well as the Mercedes-Benz V12 of a W140 S-Class. How do I decide? Overall, I am not much of a Mercedes-Benz fan; my heart has always been with BMW however never for engine related reasons. I would like an engine that is light, powerful, rev happy and efficiently servicable. All three engines are no longer in production, so I would imagine locating parts will be a challenge, not to mention I would like to upgrade with some "tuner" parts, if possible.

Any thoughts?

As for the Veleno, I have not heard of anyone who owns one.

Is it a Le Mans style car your after?
