cossy turbo

CHAPS
I have a robinhood that I have fitted a cosworth turbo engine. The problem is it is getting very hot under the hood, and I think it is warming up the brake fluid. whats the best material to lag the turbo and pipes

My friend has a turbo pinto in his robin hood, and has the same problem!
We have now fitted a mesh vent by the turbo into the bonnet, removed the servo and fitted a shorted master cylinder, the pipe outlet nearest the turbo is capped off and a splitter fitted to feed borth rear brakes (passed MOT without any problems).. thermal wrapped the downpipe and elbow from the turbo, with solerers pads from B&Q around the master cylinder... Not a lot else you can do in my opinion! Try Speedshack for wrap and a turbo wrap/bag...you will probaly need 100 ft of wrap for the down pipe to get a decent drop in temp...
