I am just overhauling the brake calipers for my Sportster and I am wondering wether to paint them with some of this special brake caliper paint. The question is - is it worth it, or am I just as well off using good old hammerite (or smoothrite in fact)

Cheers

I went for caliper paint. It's good for 500 deg centigrade, and should stand up to brake temps better than hammerite (which is only rated to about 50-60 deg centigrade)

Plus the caliper paint from frosts costs about the same price as can of hammerite.
