AC Ace recreation & production moulds for sale

A unique opportunity to purchase a 95% complete recreation of the world famous AC Ace with the ability to produce further cars. The car for sale has been built using pre 65 period underpinnings, utilising the re-bodying law to allow an accurately detailed recreation to be created. The body was created using flash mouldings taken from an original car which was subsequently finished to produce an end product of the highest quality. The project includes production moulds as part of the sale, anyone reading this with experience of creating fibreglass mouldings will know that creating a near perfect finish is of paramount importance as any imperfections would been seen in the end product. The finish on the buck was of the highest quality – please see Production Mould on Martlet & Crown’s website. The car seen in the photographs is the prototype created by Martlet & Crown that has been built using NOS and period parts where possible to ensure accurate detailing throughout, even down to the make of the door mechanisms and accurate chrome work made by Brasscraft. No expense has been spared in creating this beautiful car.

There is lots of information about the car and the production mouldings on our website, http://martletandcrown.co.uk/martlet-ace (http://www.martletandcrown.co.uk/martlet-ace) we ask that any interested party takes the time to read the information detailed on there.

Please feel free to get in touch to arrange viewings and answer any questions that the website does not answer.

We ended up moving about 150 miles apart and keeping momentum on the project was near impossible, took us a few years to realise it but need someone to come in and pick up where we left off. Good intentions and all. Most of the really gritty stuff has been done and it needs someone who has the time and drive to make it as good as it can be!
