I was sent these pictures today from Phil , a guy who along with his mate , collected 2 kits end of last year from us...

This is the first one....a Vitesse base with a 2.5 straight six fitted...

I think he has done a great job....looks great...

Wow, I love it. :thumb:

Is it black or BRG? It seems to change colour when I move my computer screen about.

I'd also like details of the wheel 'n' tyre combo if possible...

I'd say it's one of the old Racing Greens, looks like a Jag colour?

The only reason i think that is because there never was 'a' BRG, there were a few, and a lot of the really old racing greens were dropped as the years went on as on the TV they looked black! Hence the reason for the weird green of the Jag F1 cars. We really are children of the TV generation :)

That aside, NICE car!
I still think that Gary should assign us our 'number' when we pick up the bodys, although knowing my luck i would have ended up with 69!

We *think* mine was body / chassis number 48, so I'm seriously think of having that number on the side of mine!

Good call Dave.

Phil is into his Jags ...therefore it is the Jag green...

I have emailed him and told him about the forum and questions - hopefully he will be along soon....

Think mine was between you guys. Picked mine up about 3 weeks ago but it had been ready about 3 weeks before I picked her up. Maybe Gary can confirm my number to go on

Phil also tells me its a 1964 MG colour and he's quite interestingly running 13'' wires , 6'' wide and fitted with 185/70 tyres....

plenty of dials, like a Cobra. Very surprised about the wheels, obviously don't need to worry about larger rims! They look fine. Just waiting to see Trevs, i don't want to muck about with bulkhead.:suspicious:

Very nice indeed, some close ups of the dash would be appreciated.

Interesting wheel choice and they look pretty good in the pics.

Has the suspension been lowered more than usual to compensate? It does look as though there's a fair bit of camber on the back wheels a la slammed beetle.
