here is a very rough doodle, for a mid-engine locost seven proposal.

A simple round tube design, with minimal bodywork.
Engines: any fwd. or flat four placed in the middle.

Proposed Year unveiling......2008? .:)

What do you guys think? give me some feedback and please, vote the poll....:)

Cheers guys

Like it.

Concerned how it would be locost though. How would you do the screen?

Mark,
Actualy for the screen, its an of the shelf unit, a Fiat cinquecento or Daewoo Matiz screen.

I did a few measurements and it would fit perfectly in one of my proposed chassis....
For the chasssis, any mid-engine set-up. like the Sylva R10ot, the Mev rocket, or other specifically designed.

I have seen a very simple locost mid-engine chassis, so will rework that to include this new design....

Keep it coming guys.....:)

From a practical point, you need to do something more with the front cycle wings.

At the mo the tyre will throw up road cr*p towards the open sided cockpit and the (I guess) open air vents for the engine.

I would personally like to see a slightly wider cockpit too. I like to be able to get my arms in!

Also concerned the rear wheels are too far back, so drive shafts will have too acute an angle.
