Exeter
Just back from Exeter.Nearly got my voice back from all that talking. Fun being on the stand and great to meet up with Tribute car owners, builders-to-be, and the odd Sammio owners too!
Came home to find my nice rear number plate had arrived, just after I left. Never mind. Time to transfer the reg over now.
Here's some pics......

Well I still can't make it work!
Hi T, my indicators are 100% legal because...
They are visible 45degrees forward to the opposite side, and are visible behind within 5 degrees if the centerline.
In the recess below the headlights I have outer distance markers (white side lights). If you gave your indicators there they will not pass, but you know that now!!
Cheers,
Nick
Same place as on the Ferrrrrrawi, have a look at the Exeter show pics on this forum. Nick
Colour
I think I'm just gonna paint it.....
RED!
Some diagram Mister Towed posted ages ago. It had the visibility requirements on it. I think it was from the DVLA or The Ministry.
Yes, all gone quiet on the car front. Work is very busy, too busy tbh. Doing 60+ hr weeks so no time for the Ferazza. I really need a car with four seats, so even though it's taxed, insured and Mot'ed t rarely gets used unfortunately.
Still haven't made up my mind about the colour. Hope to spray it in August, take it to Goodwood Revival in September, after which it will be looking for a new home.
If you read back through the thread you will see I cut 70 mm from the arches, almost to the top of the inner arch. I can't remember now what tyres are on the back, but it's in the thread.......
Initially extensions, then recesses with no extension, then a flip front so standard wipers.
I can post a pic if you want.

Can't even remember how to post a pic!
But first, some late items of news....
After replacing several fillings involving hundreds of pounds if dentistry work I am replacing the suspension springs with standard ones. I might even be able to get over a speed bump or too. The main reason is to make it pleasant to drive. Whilst it may excel on the track, on public roads its simply uncomfortable to drive, so I simply dont drive it.
Exhaust. This is very fruity, and makes me drive like a twat. After the petition from the neighbours and a verbal warning from the boys in blue its time to fit a fully standard exhaust from one end to the other.
At least then I can leave the road without the black looks from passers by.
With these two issues sorted I might use it, and if I use it I might be inspired to paint it
Ah what bliss.
Now a really quality ride, on par with our Alfa 156. Nice and quiet, but still good at 7k. It is higher, and does not look so good, but I don't care! It's now nice to drive. The exhaust is a standard one, with a silencer where the cat was as well.
Shocks are still adjustable.
When I can remember how to post a pic, I will.
But I am a teenage hooligan!
Ok chaps, brace yourself, today the car went into my workshop to be finished and painted!
That's what everyone else said!
First thing is to remove the remotely operated bonnet catches and change them got two lever type from a Triumph Herald.
