Received my V5 from the DVSA today. Taken about 10 days. Much quicker than I expected!

And seven years later I am still happily driving the Pembleton in between rebuilding my Marlin Roadster.
The Pembleton went in for its annual MOT recently, which it passed with flying colours, and while it was up on the ramps I noticed a problem with the rear spring hanger. The MOT man didn't notice so I didn't bring it to his attention....
To make a long story short it was very bent. Not only that but it had crimped the chassis member it was attached to and started to crack the weld. Oooo....

Anyway it straightened up with a couple of swift blows of the hammer. Far too easily in fact demonstrating how weak it had become.

I made a couple of gussets from 25mm angle. Here theye are clecoed in place.

Good (well actually better) than new.
After some discussions with other owners it transpires this is a common problem, and later chassis had a similar gusset as standard.
