After a few frustrating weeks I have been told it will be ready for me to see it in primer on Wednesday. Then it's paint but that will a few weeks yet as another countach is being painted week after next. There have been a few bad weather weeks though which has delayed things.
How's yours coming along?
Popped over to see the car today, couple of minor changes to make, then paint

Thanks Dave. All the better to keep the Chevy cool lol. They are sitting high, don't think they are much bigger than yours tbh.
Thanks Guys.
I have jumped the queue a bit so i need to be a bit quiet about showing the pics
It will be ready for me to look at week Friday, then off for interior.
Dave, I saw your post on another thread re tyre pressure, what do you have yours set to?
I have a brand new set of 345 35 15 asym tyres and the ones on the alloys are not asym so going to swap them over.
Need to work out ICE now, got the head, side speakers and fronts. Need to source an amp and a sub, any thoughts?
No one on here

but they are on the other site
Car is now in for interior and finishing
So close yet so far. Aim to be on the road before the two year anniversary of its purchase
So, now that the car is in the final stages, I thought I would sort out my rear reflectors.
I think the two panels on the back of the lambo are more for aesthetics rather than function, but paying over £200 each for OEM is a no no!!! But trying to find the same type of sheet to cut them out is like looking for Hens Teeth!!
But I have a genius wife and she has suggested using clear with a reflective sheet underneath, love her
So, why do I need to do this since I had a perfectly good pair already you may ask (or not!)? Well, during its visit for paint, undue car and attention lead to this :-
Not happy
So bought some of this :-
Used the original reflectors as templates and this to cut them out:-
I now have new ones :-
But there non-reflective, so ordered these to stick behind the red acrylic :-
Fingers crossed, it will give a similar effect
I won't stick them on, it will be a snug fit, also the lenses will still on top of this, screwed in from inside the boot. I know this isn't ala original but will still do the job
Seen some more pics of the car today, more detailing coming along
Thanks but I cannot take credit unfortunately, the body shop did a great job.
The colour is so much better in the flesh as well.
Hi Dave,
I'm in sunny Rome this week and hoping I will have the car finished ready for pick up when I get back
Watch this space
Screen bonded in, all elecs working now.
Just need to sort out the tracking and its will be home soon

, happy days
Haha Dave. You are so funny
I hope I have done the right thing with sticking to my guns with the colour. Time will tell.
Looking forward to seeing yours in the flesh. Will you make any of the remaining shows - donny or total kit car live?
IVA forth coming eeecccckkk
When is Exeter?
I was hoping for donnington for me but I doubt I can squeeze IVA and dvla sorting the car out by then so maybe total kit live.
Deff Stoneleigh next year though
I'm hoping its road worthy by then and there are two more local to me that I could convince to pop in to yours and the convoy down
1 prova and another mirage
