Good afternoon Donerix , my car does have AC but as a personal preference i did not want vents on either side of the dash , they could be incorporated if reqd , the AC working through the vents onto the screen will keep the car cool and that was with the rear roof vent sealed , thanks Geoff .
Good evening my Dark Blue car is now sold and has been replaced by this ,

, built for me by Chris at Tribute , Geoff .
Morning here is a few more details this Z3 is a 2000MY car with a 3.0l engine less than 90,000 miles one owner last 5 years , the rear screen is from Justin at Grassbank but the electric window frames and *glass* designed and sorted by Chris .
The side windows really improve the looks, I never liked the fact that the windscreen looked too high in relation to the side windows. Are the side windows glass or plastic?[/QUOTE]
The side windows are plastic but it is a coated product that is supposed not to mark (easily) , i will not be going to Stoneleigh as starting the drive down to Italy to watch this years Mille Miglia , thanks Geoff .
Jeff thank you for the update , Geoff .
Thanks for all the comments guys , the rear window and surround were supplies by Justin at Grassbank , Geoff .
Jag i am sure people would find it helpful if you could put some photos up of your SWB before and after you installed aftermarket suspension so the difference can be seen , also when you fitted wire wheels did you carry out the mod to narrow the rear track? thanks Geoff .
Good afternoon Ian , i did not use the Z3 sub-frames , i bought the seats with a set of runners for each and then used a piece of 2"square hollow steel to run from side to side of the runners , this steel was then bolted into the standard Z3 floor mounting points , the seat belt on the right hand side of the drivers seat was bolted down to the floor , the seat-belt stalk on the left hand side of the drivers seat was bolted to the steel that runs from side to side , hope this helps Geoff .
Morning Ian i have no airbags fitted and i have also removed the airbag control unit , Geoff .
Back from Italy yesterday afternoon , unusual for the weather to improve the closer we got to the the UK . We were on the 08:00 ferry from Dunkirk with probably no more than 10 other cars , so it was pretty much empty of passengers although it was full of trucks . In approx 2,800 miles no oil or water used but plenty of Unleaded! pictures to follow of the MM , thanks Geoff .
Good evening , i took the SWB for an early MOT today and it passed! so have an MOT in place untill 22/06/20 . One item that i knew had changed from last year was that an ABS warning light had to be fitted and working , for those who have retained the Z3 instrument panel there would be no effect but if like me you have replaced the Z3 panel with separate gauges and warning lights it could be something to be aware of , Geoff .
Evening Steve the way it was explained to me was because the car still has ABS fitted then there should be a warning light , whereas there are obviously no air bags installed no warning light is reqd . It would be interesting to hear if others had had similar conversations with their MOT man Geoff .
Good morning i have replaced the set of alloys on my SWB with a different set of wheels and so the alloys are for sale , if any body is interested on here (before they go on Ebay) please message me , thanks Geoff
Good evening these are my new wheels , bought from Grassbank , fitted with the narrow rear track conversion , Geoff .
Morning i am looking for one of these ,
i have two but need one more , does anybody have one lying around if so i would be happy to buy , thanks Geoff .
Thanks for that , have sent him a email , Geoff .
Good evening there have been some changes ,
if you start with this ,
then add this ,
you get this , Geoff .
Morning i decided for various reasons to get non-adjustable but with 30m shorter springs , funny thing is comparing the photos it does not seem to different but does look better standing next to it . The side windows are a combination of the standard Z3 electric mechanism but with side windows and window frames cut to shape , this was all done by Chris at Tribute .
Molleur the tyres are 205/65/15 , thanks Geoff .
