Just had an interesting conversation with cpl racing regarding the kpro and fitment into my car!
When I said it ws for a kit car the first question he asked me about was the exhaust apparently it has to be 4-2-1 not 4-1 with the primarys 24inch long!
Not sure how this would fit though but he stated that some companies are fitting elise's with 4-1 for cost and they don't drive very well.
As I have said in a previous post I will be changing my exhaust and will defo look at this option!
As for the kpro I will be getting one within the next couple of weeks £728 all in including testing on a type r before sending back to me!
Note that although the downpipe to the cat looks like one tube, it is split across the diameter internally. Probably about 10 inches for the 4 - 2 section, then 14 inches for the 2-1 section (assuming it extends all the way to the cat substrate).
I think it's a black art.... and to say one thing is better than another, without considering the other aspects of the exhaust is perhaps a bit sweeping.
Interesting thread John! But when i was talking to cpl they did not really mention power but the driveability of the car and the power delivery with a 4-2-1 against a 4-1 which he said was totally different and very noticable
