Clutch master cylinder to slave cylinder pipe

What has everyone else used for this? Does the standard E30 one fit (can't try mine as in went with the shell to the big scrapheap in the sky) I don't want to fork out £40 on the E30 one and find it doesn't fit. Come to think of it I don't really want to shell out £40 full stop...

Im using the stock E30, it got damaged when we took the engine out the donor. I think the replacment was about £30 from motormec.

You can see where I attached it to the firewall with a P clips in these pictures:

Hi Robin,

I followed Patrick's lead on this one and used the standard BMW part mounted in the same place as Patrick's car. (I kept my original but it was blocked full of gunge)

The only place i could get one was from BMW and I think it cost about £37 +VAT.

you can see a picture of it on page 5 of my Flickr photo's. Look for the picture called 'Fuel Filter' and you'll see it there lurking in the background.
