I just thought I would show a few rough sketches, of a mild body conversion for a Toyota Mr2 Mk2.

The only difference with the original is a shorter rear overhang.

I will be using this thread to show various designs on the same platform.

Maybe I could give a few ideas for free to the kitcar industry.....

There are 2 different body shapes,

First image: A modern Gt 40- ish inspired design.

Last image: A simpler and cheaper conversion .

Will show more views later...

I thought that body conversions, could have been an interesting niche for kit manufacturers, but the reaction, or lack of it here, shows that there is a very limited or non existant interest.

Maybe the design are not that interesting or appealing, they were jut rough sketches, but no feedback whatsover, with 56 views ???!!!!!

No more sketches , I just was wrong to think, this could have been a new niche for the industry, I'm glad nobody invested in tooling

the designs look nice
to get the reqiured reations that you are after you need to post the pic's on a main stream car forum say like an mr2 forum
most the people on this forum are the converted and are in the process of biulding or driving there kit
