On the listing it has
‘Rebuilt - assembled from parts some of all of which were not new’
Any idea what this means as I have the same on my V5, Mine is not a cat c or D but when I tried to get a replacement key BMW said they couldn't supply one as the car had been imported from Belgium even though it is RHD.
Confused.
I think it is a standard addition to most V5's where a car is modified or kit built. Seen it on many, if not all my project car V5's. I wouldn't mention it in your advert as it doesn't read well and might put a few people off. Good luck with your auction sale btw.
It was on my V5 before the car was modified, I can't see why they would add it to the V5 just because it was an import.
Odd to have a RHD from Belgium anyway I would have thought.

Back in the day it was often cheaper to import a right hand drive car from Belgium, France etc rather than buying it here in the UK !
Bad luck it didn't get there today, maybe try again in a few weeks when the sun comes out .
Noticed an older Challenger E type sold today at the " Classic Car Auctions " sale , it went for 26,5k with a buyers fee of 15% on top of that, so buyers can be found if the venue is right. Sold my 275 and Z3GT through that auction house and they got a result after months of trying to sell privately.
Nothing for most of the week and then a sudden flurry of a dozen bids today as two rival bidders drove up the price to about 10,000 less than the reserve. Free, interesting but disappointing in the end*
Thanks Lucky - I still need to leave it with Car & Classic for 2 weeks for them to chase around the bidders to try and sell it but then will see what else might work. Will look at Classic Car Auctions
