1st year road tax.

Good afternoon,

Apologies for starting a new thread as I'm sure this must have been fully covered before but I have searched and searched without success.

Am I right in thinking that the law changed in 2017 and now there is a one off payment for the first year's road tax of anything up to £2000+ and then it's a constant annual payment of £150 ish?

Guidance please.
