Does anyone have the core dimensions of the radiator Height/depth and width as there is so many different types? Also does anyone know if I need one with a hole for the thermo on the type-r engine
The Radiator that i have got is from rover part is number PCC001660SLP allthough i did have to mod one of the bottom mounts
As for the thermo switch i am going to fit it in the pipework this is because the rads with a thermo hole are to big for the gap that the rad has to fit in

Jerry, after I saw yours a while ago, I went and did some hunting through catalogues at motor-factors. I found the radiator that fits perfectly (including correct outlet angles), and it as fitted to the 218vvc (and others).
The one I bought cost me £55 (inc VAT) from Serck Marston.
I did have the rover part number, but in moving home, have lost it to the ether.
Gent's I recently purchased a brand new radiator for my 5exi build. The donor car I used was a R25 1.8 GTi. This was the inbetween model for the R200vi and the MG ZR160. The point I am making is that the radiator from my donor was wrong for our build in that the top radiator hose outlet was cranked up at about 45 degrees which kinked the marlin hose. So not sure if the VVC radiator is best.
I looked on the Rover EPC and found that the radiator required is off the R200 1.6 (as you would suspect).
Anyway I purchased the below online on ebay from Aaron Radiator company.
