Eagle Wrangler Eagle RV

29 Aug 2018, 1:24pm
Hello,

I'm a newbie on the kit car scene.
Would you be able to help me find out who had manufactured this car?
(Photos attached)

It comes under the name of Jeep Wrangler Eagle RV.
Is that right?

How much would you sell it for now? Would you suggest a price range?
It was apparently built in April 1985, and as far as I know it had two owners.

Thank you!

It looks like one of the better ones. Is it correctly registered an Eagle Jeep on the V5 ? If so then that's good, Q plate or not. With a full 12 months MOT and assuming it all works as it should I would think it will be worth between £4 - £5k. If the V5 is wrong and still on the donor car details ( Ford Cortina I think ) then it won't be worth much more than the sum total of its parts.

Interesting point...if it's on a Q plate then I think it MUST be correctly registered because the DVLA have issued a new (Q) registration for the vehicle which is not related to any donor car.

Since the original Eagle RV company doesn't exist anymore, would anybody be able to help me find the dimensions of the car especially roof size: length and width.

Grateful!

The best source of this sort of info (and lots of other useful stuff) is the relevant owners club. I suggest you contact the Eagle owners club at http://www.eagleownersclub.org.uk/

"Q" plates are usually a safe bet. Just check the make and model on the V5 describes the car correctly and you can't go wrong.
