Would like to hear from any other Lightning owners or builders !
I owned that car for a short time about 20 years ago. It started out as a factory demo car for Lightning, this was known as a TS I think, based on a Cortina with 1.6 Pinto engine!
I did the mods to the front end and I chopped the roof off! My vision was to fit chrome front bumpers but I didn't in the end.
Even with the roof off the seating position was really high. I sold it on as a part built project.

Lightning
I remember seeing that car when the Lightning was launched at the Stoneleigh kit car shown in about 1988. I even had a photograph but I fear that was lost a long time ago. A good idea that deserved a better fate.
