Help needed with this car

Hi,

I might be looking at this over the weekend and wanted your professional opinions as I havent heard of the make and struggling to find any real info.

Looks a nice build but I dont want to get stick with a turd.

Any thoughs or advice greatly appreciated

All i remember of them is that are wider than your average 7 type car.

It does look a wide car. For what they are asking go and see it. As they are dealers make sure it is registered properly and has a new MOT and tax to drive it home. Good Luck.

From what I can remember they ( Madgwick ) came and went quite quickly. Slightly quirky styling for a 7 style car, tall screen and odd shape nose and rear wings. I think the chassis was well engineered and some of the detailing was ahead of the others, eg the front suspension fairing.
This one looks well built from the photos seen here. Make sure the V5 is correct otherwise the new MOT rules will destroy its value.

Thank you for the response. How do I check to make sure the V5 is correct?

Make sure the Make and Model is correct. Anything relating to the donor car in that section eg Ford or Escort or Cortina will set the alarm bells ringing with DVLA next year when its time to mot or tax your car. You should be ok if its on a Q plate but it will not be MOT exempt, ever.

Am I able to put a private plate on a q plate car?

I don't know, the rules, regulations and goal posts are in a process of change at the moment. If you buy it and if are able to change the reg number, do it now ! Who knows what their plans are ?

AFAIK the only time you can change from a Q plate is if it was issued due to unknown year of manufacture, and evidence is subsequently found to prove.
