I'm kicking myself I went on the Sunday to take a load of pictures for the galleries, about 700 altogether, didn't realise 'till I loaded them on the puter that the last 250 came out low res and small. It was when I changed the batteries in the camera I didn't notice that the res had changed. It always has to happen on the shots you wanted the most as well
I must say as well that I've never seen Stoneleigh so well attented by the public and clubs, absolutely heaving, was great to see Cobras and 7's in their hundreds, more GT40's then you could ever want to see, stacks of JBA's, Gentries, Ginettas, Quantums, Rickmans and others that I've failed to mention. Brilliant.
Yep would agree. The halls seemed to play second fiddle to the outside attractions. Wasn't impressed by the displays, thought it was just me though as they just look the same at each show to the point where you no longer see anything.
I'm not one for panel kits but one stand that did catch my eye was the Peugot 406 coupe / Ferrari conversion. As panel kits go I thought that was quite a nice piece of work. I think there will be a number of sales there.
The AK stand caught my eye but not much else. Pity, but then again I was pretty much expecting it, the outside is what I went for.
