The Rover seats are a bit to large IMHO. They have been used but just don't quite look right. The blue 250 on Nubodies site has had MGTF seats fitted and look very good.
Most people have used an alloy strip along the top of the door, I took a slightly different route, I built up the top of the door and used a traditional rubber window seal. It is more work but you also get the chance to build up the top rear of the bonnet to match the door otherwise there is quite a gap details on my build thread.
If you do change your seats I don't suppose you have a decent black leather drivers seat? Mine has a small but annoying wear hole in it.
Can you also slow down a bit, you're putting the rest of us to shame.
I'm just rubbing the door down now so I have just offered it up to give you an idea, window rubber is obviously not fitted in the pictures.
my seats are red leather and in good nick so they are going in my splitty. been a soft top I wanted something more in keeping the BB classic range is not too bad on price around 250ish of a pair. they do come up on feebay but are mostly damaged in some way suppose you get what you pay for.
