New/Old Sportster Builder

I'm building an e30 325i based Sportster up here in Aberdeenshire.
I've been having a look at the forum for a while (at work) but just got access to a computer recently (at home), just in time for hackers to ruin the forum and lose my sign on.

I've had some of the same build problems as you guys.
Yes my rear spring seats don't quite line up either, could it be a batch of chassis, I picked mine up in December 04. Anyone else the same time?

I broke two 325's, one was a free 70,000mile right off (body and suspension damage), the other was a £200 rust bucket (for suspension).

Rear suspension

Picked mine up about the same time as you..... I have the problem with the rear suspension mounts not lining up - so looks like Marlin had a problem with their tape measure for a while :-(
